How to Care for your Kendubart Cardi

Fun facts on Crochet Garments
Crochet garments can ONLY be produced by HUMAN HANDS. There are no machines that can crochet, only ones that can knit. This is a handmade garment. There is no other piece of clothing that will be like the one you own. Your Cardi is unique, just like you!
Cleaning
Wash your cardigan in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with cool water and lay me flat to dry on a towel on a flat surface. I do not recommend dry cleaning.
See a Piece of Thread, No Problem!
If you notice a thread sticking out, don't panic!! The cardigan is not going to unravel!! When crocheting pieces that are larger or require color changes, I have to change to another ball of yarn, leading to a loose thread. Those yarn ends are then woven into the piece after I tie and secure them. Sometimes with wash or wear the end of yarn might peek out from under a stitch. Rest assured, the end is tied and fully secure. Simply tuck the end back into the garment if it makes an unwelcome appearance.
Storage
Your Kendubart Cardi can be heavy. The weight of the sweater will pull and stretch the yarn without proper care. No one likes saggy yarn! Please do not drape on the back of chairs or hang on hangers as you would most other garments.
How to Fold for Storage
You can fold the sweater in half (matching the sleeves together) and then fold each of the ends in to the middle to make a square (fold the arm to the midsection and the bottom to the midsection). Lay flat.
Gently fold over a hanger following these steps
Step 1: Fold matching the sleeves together.
Step 2: Arrange the cardigan so it makes a v shape.
Step 3: Place the hanger in the center of the v. The hook of the hanger should be peeking out of the top of the v.
Step 4: Fold each side of the v down over the hanger.
Optional Step 5: For extra security, tuck folded ends under the bottom of the hanger.
